When you picture winter in Las Vegas, visions of ice skating may not come to mind. But people also said hockey would never thrive in the desert, and you can’t walk five feet without seeing some Vegas Golden Knights swag. We may not have frozen ponds, but we do have three ice-skating rinks where kids and adults alike can lace up their skates all year long, including City National Arena, where our own Golden Knights practice. Skate around the heart of Downtown in this 9,000 square foot rink located across from Circus Circus Reno. It’s open seven days a week and offers discounts to military, seniors and college students.
